What is the woman-buyer rebate?
In Uttar Pradesh, 1% off stamp duty where the property is registered in a woman's name, subject to a cap. On a ₹90 lakh property that is up to ₹90,000, and it is frequently missed.
Do both parties need to attend?
Yes, with two witnesses. A registered power of attorney can substitute where someone genuinely cannot be there.
